We’re partnering with Edinburgh Fringe Festival to help them with a tree planting project that aims to establish 75,000 trees in recognition of 75 years of the Fringe.
Last week we planted the first 75 trees in Inverleith Park with the help of the Friends of Inverleith Park and members of the Fringe team, and documented the start of this wondeful project in the video below.
The trees planted are all native species, chosen because of the benefits they provide to insects and wildlife and include a mix of birch, rowan, blackthorn, hawthorn, and hazel.
