Two years ago, we visited Diana Yates at her beautiful garden in West Linton. Back then, it was already a thriving space full of potential. Today, we’re back for a special update.
In this latest episode of Exploring Scottish Gardens, we return with Andy Peasgood to Greenfields to see how Diana has completely transformed her kitchen garden. With a new tiered layout, carefully considered geometry, and an inviting central space for relaxing, dining, and working, it’s now a fully immersive sanctuary.
Designed with both beauty and practicality in mind, the garden’s raised beds are built on two levels and filled with Caledonian Horticulture’s Green Goodness compost. This rich foundation has helped create a flourishing space packed with vibrant flowers, fresh vegetables, and climbing plants that soften the edges and add vertical interest.
