We are delighted to announce we’ve been shortlisted for two Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards!
Our first nomination was in the Community Benefit Category which focuses on the work we do through our One Planet Pledge:
We care deeply about the world we live in and are committed to being a business with a positive environmental and social impact. We are taking steps across all areas of our business to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Fuel Offsetting – We contribute 2p per litre of diesel used by our vehicles and machinery towards environmental restoration and carbon reduction projects
- Tree Planting – We plant a tree for every bulk bag of firewood sold
- Free Compost – We offer free compost to schools and community groups across the central belt to encourage everybody to try growing their own
After reading our Community Benefit nominations the judges decided to put us forward for the Environmental Practices Award and have shortlisted us in that category also.
The award ceremony will take place in Glasgow on Thursday 11th May – keep your fingers crossed for us!
