Caledonian Horticulture Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs burn hotter, cleaner and more efficiently.

These premium quality logs are kiln dried to produce a moisture content of below 20% meaning they will burn much hotter and for longer than seasoned logs. Due to the low moisture content it is not necessary to have a ferocious fire to burn off excess moisture which means the air vents on your log burner can be closed down for a longer more controllable burn.

All of our firewood is best stored in a dry well ventilated shed, garage or log store.

Size

Available in approx. 850L builders bags. Our hardwood logs are suitable for both small and large log burners as they are cut to a length of approximately 8 inches.

Delivery

Please note delivery of all bags are made in bulk and offloaded mechanically from the roadside. We DO NOT carry bags manually into your property.

If your logs are being delivered during poor weather we advise that you leave something for us to cover them back up with once we’ve offloaded them onto your property. All of our logs are covered during transit in poor weather.

Builders Bags – Single bag delivery fee is £16.50 to a local postcode, orders of 2 or more qualify for free local delivery.

    Our second delivery of these logs – reliable quality. Decently dry and no spitting when burned. Some logs need to be split down by hand as they can be rather large diameter, but these ones are also good to use to keep the fire going all evening once it’s well established. Cut length of the logs is perfect. The delivery driver was able to use a long boom to position the bag close to our store, which was certainly appreciated.

    These kiln dried hardwood logs really do have a low moisture content and burn hot and long. The driver is always so pleasant and helpful. Great service.
    I wish the bags could be reused: they are too good and useful to ‘recycle’.
