Very good quality, rich and dark. Bought a few bags along with some bark. Delivery person was very obliging as before, delivering over rear fence for ease of working- thank you!

Absolutely brilliant product, exactly what was needed and the right quantity of sand for top dressing. I’ve tried products from the likes of other well known garden centres and had no end of problems with it being too damp and stodgy. The top dressing I bought from Caledonian Horticulture was top notch stuff and I’ll definitely be back.

I would reccomend this product. This is my second purchase. I just underestimated the area I had to cover. There has been a huge reduction in weeds to pull.
Will be coming back for more as I have a second bed that I will be adding Bark to.

I had to let the product dry out as it was too wet to go through the riddle . When applied it was obvious that it gives a flush of green . Grading was good and therefore easy to fill low areas and seed as required .

Excellent product - created new raised beds by mixing Green Goodness and screened top soil about 1:4. Planted into more Green Goodness in the planting holes. Now mulch annually with it and use it on my no-dig vegetable beds as well.

Got a few builders bags of planter mix last year to put into my raised beds etc. Everything grewwell and happily so it was my first year gardening and i dare say planter mix was miles better than anything i got from the stores. And cheaper per litre. I had a jungle of food last year with many bees visiting and sadly just as many slugs. However plants grew really well, slugs didn't manage to decimate my plants. I had cherry tomatoes, chard, carrots, beets, herbs, radishes, lettuces, beans etc I also grew some flowers and all of them were a riot of colour. Im about to order another bag this year. Fancied some dwarf trees and run out of the good stuff. I use it it in small planters also and mix with perlite for anything that needs lighter soil. Im a happy returning customer.

I ordered a builder's bag kelpie compost and a builder's bag of woodchip. Both came within the delivery time, were placed on the drive carefully and the quality is superb and the price is great for the quality of product too. The woodchip smells amazing, it's fresh and fragrant and this one is a lovely smallish chip. It has a little bit of soil in it and that was perfect for my new no dig border. I put down kelpie compost and topped it with the woodchip bark and for now the hydrangeas are thriving.

I used it over a new no dig border scattering a thick layer over cardboard as well as for flower pots and everything is thriving.
